Ascot Care Supports Dementia Awareness Through Newcastle Falcons Sponsorship

We are delighted to announce we have renewed our partnership with Newcastle Falcons by sponsoring first-team player Adam Brocklebank for the remainder of the season. This time however, our partnership is about more than rugby; it’s about creating meaningful change in the community.

The collaboration builds on the Newcastle Falcons’ recent work with the Alzheimer’s Society, highlighted by their third kit initiative, where a portion of sales directly supports the charity. Through this shared focus, we at Ascot Care aim to shine a spotlight on the challenges of dementia, while celebrating the resilience of those living with the condition.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Newcastle Falcons,” said Michelle Lovelace, Head of Operations at Ascot Care. “This sponsorship is an opportunity to connect with the wider community and provide vital information about dementia care. It’s not just about raising awareness—it’s about empowering people with knowledge and support.”

As part of this renewed partnership, we will host a series of free monthly webinars, inviting Falcons supporters and the general public to join discussions led by our dementia specialists. These sessions will provide practical advice on navigating the challenges of dementia, alongside insights from representatives of Alzheimer and dementia support groups.

At Ascot Care, we encounter the realities of dementia every day, providing expert care and support to residents and their families. By teaming up with Newcastle Falcons, we’re taking this mission beyond our care homes, raising awareness about dementia’s impact and ensuring that help is accessible to all who need it.

Dementia affects more than just those diagnosed; it impacts families, friends, and entire communities. Together with Newcastle Falcons, we aim to create a stronger support network and a deeper understanding of Alzheimer and other lesser-known forms of dementia.

We are looking forward to a season of collaboration, community engagement, and meaningful impact!
