About Ascot Care

Ascot Care is small family run care group with over 30 years of experience. Through our 7 Residential Care Homes, Mental Health Suite, and Care at Home services, we provide care for the elderly across the North East of England.

We pride ourselves on offering a professional service with a personal touch. We adhere to all legislation in every facet of the business whilst still ensuring the core and paramount focus of Ascot Care is always the happiness and contentment of our residents and their families.

In addition, all our staff is carefully recruited and undergo rigorous pre-employment checks including a full interview process, previous references checks, DBS checks and training in every aspect of care.

It has taken 30 years for us to build our unique approach, which we continually develop and review. In this time we have gone from operating one home to seven, as we continue to focus all our or time and effort on maintaining the highest level of care and the very best service we can.

Our reputation

We have an outstanding reputation for taking care of our clients, their families and our staff.

We are a small care group and intend to remain so in order to ensure we can focus solely on good care and the well being of our residents and their families.

Providing the highest level of care and the best service we can is at the core of our ethos and values.

Our support for Veterans and the Armed Forces

In 2018, Ascot Care was awarded the Silver Award, and in 2019 we achieved the Gold Award at the Employer recognition Scheme from the Armed Forces Covenant, in recognition of our support to those who are serving, veterans and their families.

Since then, we continue our efforts to maintain, increase and improve the ways we engage with the Reserves, service leavers, veterans, the wounded, injured and sick, cadets, military spouses or partners and their families.

In 2022, we started working toward The Veteran Covenant Health Care Alliance (VCHA), in a commitment to improving Armed Forces and Veteran care whilst raising standards for all.

Ascot Care was part of a pilot for the scheme in the private healthcare sector, working closely with Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA) Team Lead, Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Guy Benson.

As a result of this commitment, in 2023 Langley House became the first Veteran Aware Care Home to be accredited as such in the North East.
