Nestled on the picturesque sea front at Whitley Bay, St Anne’s Care Home offers a homely environment and a welcoming community where compassion meets comfort.
Our well-appointed rooms provide a cozy and private retreat, while communal spaces encourage social interaction and make the most of our panoramic views of the promenade.

Resident rooms
Our rooms are bright and airy. The majority have been recently remodelled and many have fabulous sea views.
We supply wardrobes and drawers as a standard, but Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture if preferred.
Common areas
Our home has a range of common areas, including a spacious dining room, lounges with sea views, and our very own adapted hair salon.
Residents can enjoy extensive views of the seafront and promenade from our front gardens, which are equipped with domes that provide shelter from the weather in all seasons.
We also have a lift, stair lifts throughout the Home, and are fully wheelchair accesible.
Activities
Our two full-time Activity Coordinators prepare a monthly schedule of events for Residents, which may include:
Walks along the coast
Adapted exercising classes
Arts and crafts
Baking
Manicures
Singing and choir
Dominoes
Animal therapy
Summer fairs
Visits from local schools, volunteering groups and entertainers
In addition to our scheduled activities, our in-house hairdresser is also available to style Residents all year round.
Food and drink
Residents enjoy a 3-week rolling menu filled with nutritious, homely meals cooked in house. We cater for different dietary needs, including allergen-free, dysphagia (and other soft diets), diabetic-friendly and vegetarian.
Visitors
Relatives are welcomed at anytime, although we kindly ask that you aim to visit outside of protected meal times.
We are a pet friendly home and welcome well trained pet visitors with a little advanced notice.
