Welcome Allyson McLeod-Hardy to Ascot Care!

We are delighted to welcome Allyson McLeod-Hardy to the Ascot Care team as our new Training Manager. Allyson joined us in December 2024, and brings a wealth of experience in training and staff development within the health and social care sector.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Allyson has worked in various roles, including as a Registered Nurse, Learning & Development Facilitator, and Training Advisor. She has designed and delivered training across a wide range of subjects, from dementia awareness to mental health first aid, supporting care teams to build their knowledge and skills.

At Ascot Care, Allyson will focus on delivering high-quality training to ensure our staff have the skills and confidence to provide the best possible care. She is passionate about supporting people to grow in their roles and is excited to make a positive impact on our team.

Speaking about her new role, Allyson said: "Joining Ascot Care as their Training Manager is an exciting opportunity to support staff in their quest to provide the best quality care to the people they support, and something I’m proud to be a part of."

Michelle Lovelace, Head of Operations at Ascot Care, also shared her enthusiasm: "We are thrilled to have Allyson on board. Her extensive experience and dedication to training will be invaluable in helping our staff develop and ensuring the highest standards of care across our services."

Outside of work, Allyson enjoys gardening, cooking (especially while listening to music), and getting lost in a good book-though she saves reading for holidays so she doesn’t have to put a great story down! She’s also been known to binge watch a series in one night, as she doesn’t like to wait for the next episode.

Please join us in giving Allyson a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she will bring to Ascot Care!
