Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training - March Course

There is a reason behind every behaviour, and if we understand why it happens, we can find better ways to meet the needs of a person. This can help them to communicate more effectively and reduce the likelihood that they will resort to challenging behaviours to express themselves.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a kind and effective way to support people who may show behaviours that challenge. The main aim is to improve their quality of life, as well as the lives of those around them, by building skills for both the person and their carers, instead of using restrictive or unpleasant methods.

By doing this, we can lower the chances of challenging behaviour happening.
