Queen's birthday celebrations

Celebrations have taken place across many of our North East care homes, to honour the Queen’s birthday. Westoe Grange care home in South Shields made the occasion one to remember.

Many residents watched her on TV and others shared stories of the past with our resident Gordon having experienced riding alongside the Queen whilst in the Army.

We all enjoyed looking through our book of the Queen, seeing great pictures of her from when she was a small child.
