Jukebox Uke Project Starts At Langley House
From today, our Langley House Care Home in Horden have teamed up with the Mad Alice Theatre Company, who are based in Consett to take part in their JukeBox Uke project!
This project will see five residents taking part in an interactive session via Zoom with members of the Mad Alice Theatre Company in which they will work to record a video of them singing, which will be watched by their family members.
Each recording will be different as it will be focused on the individual resident, as the team explore their preferences in music.
The sessions will start from Tuesday 4th May and will take part every Tuesday thereafter for a total of four weeks.
Each resident will have a video produced with highlights of the four sessions and a copy will be issued to the family upon there consent.
