Valentine's Day celebrations

All six of our North East care homes were busy on Friday 14th February celebrating Valentine’s Day with a range of activities.

Westoe Grange in South Shields hosted a tea for two, where couples of the home were invited to an afternoon tea with all the fixings. There was also a Valentine’s raffle, where funds went towards the resident’s fund.

The Gardens in Darlington hosted a coffee morning and raffle as well as Valentine’s Day crafts where a display was created for all to enjoy.

Springfield Lodge in West Rainton made the most of the occasion and hosted Valentine’s Day crafts and activities throughout the whole week.

Castleview based in Alnwick saw residents come together to create a Valentine’s Day display in the entrance of the home, ready for their afternoon tea to be enjoyed be all residents.
