Ascot Care Continue Charity Commitment
Ascot Care is delighted to announce an ongoing commitment to our Charity fundraising, this forms part of our wider community engagement initiative, which recently saw us feature on BBC Songs of Praise.
Michelle Lovelace, Head of Operations said “We have an exciting announcement next month which will further strengthen our community presence in each of the local communities where we provide care. One strand of that is our charitable work and each year we look to add new charities, raise more money for our existing charities, and strengthen our community relationships.’’
2024 will again see Ascot Care raising money for the Bradley Lowery Foundation, The Alzheimer Society, Dementia UK, Hire a Hero, North East Youth, Cancer Research, and our latest addition The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation.
Lianne Ohara from head office said: “Our charitable work and community engagement is a huge part of what we do, we recently donated £7000 to our newest charity, The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation, obviously raising money is a vital part but it also about raising awareness and getting involved, a brilliant example of that is when our care home in South Shields took part in the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk with staff members and residents families walking together.”
