Our Langley House Care Home in Horden has received their first Bloom In Care competition entry, created kindly by the family of resident, Ella Thom!

Inspired by spring, The Bloom In Care competition gives the Care Home the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes!

If you would like to enter, please do the following:

• Send flowers in bloom via a picture, a sculpture, drawing, painting or even a cross-stitch….anything which celebrates the amazing colours and full bloom of Spring to: valeriecuthbert83@gmail.com The winner will be the most creative flower in bloom which will be chose by one the Kare Plus Marketing Team.  Please include your full name and where your from to ensure the credit can be given where needed.

1st Prize – 3 Months subscriptions for Langley House Care Home to Bloom and Wild!

2nd Prize – Hamper for our residents to enjoy from Newcastle Kare Plus.

The closing date for this competition is Thursday 13th May at 17:00.

Residents also took part in a walk around the Welfare Park in Horden, where they spotted flowers which caught their eye.
