It’s a busy month of events and activities set to take place at Castleview in Alnwick.

Valentine’s Day is slowly creeping upon us and to honour the occasion, residents and staff are coming together for a valentine themed afternoon tea! Once the cake, tea and coffee has been enjoyed be all - residents will have the opportunity to take part in an arts and crafts session to create decorations for the home.

Currently at Castleview, residents are able to take part in ‘Singing for the Brain’, which enables people with dementia and their carers to engage in the benefits of structured community singing. It involves singing and gentle exercise, with an emphasis on enjoyment, participation and equality.
